Heavy smoke filled the building and also affected neighboring Bistro Les Gras. The Bistro will remain closed pending a Board of Health Inspection.

Springfield, MA: A clothes dryer fire caused around $10,000 in damage to an apartment building in the McKnight neighborhood. Most of the damage was caused by smoke; the entire building will require cleaning and repainting. There were no serious injuries. One woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but declined to be taken to the hospital.
